YES! both career politicians and political parties were repugnant notions to many of our founders and even the citizens of the time. but at the same time the constitution was founded on conservative principles that favored the perpetuation of elitist rule. unfortunately the corruption of the elite won out over any egalitarian protections.

  6.  @awesomeking6  … I doubt seriously if you're open to having your mind changed but consider this - what do you think treaties and alliances are for? these international agreements are made and affirmed by BOTH the executive branch and congress. its a unified, bipartisan effort not an autocratic undertaking. trump is basing our "nation's" friendship with other countries on doing HIS bidding for his political benefit. trump has no right to seek domestic political assistance in exchange for financial or military aid that congress already appropriated WITH executive branch approval. on top of that trump has sought to undermine our already established international alliances to promote Russian positions. he's betrayed BOTH the g-7 and nato to push putin's agenda. how much you wanna bet you didn't change your mind?
