@KeloGIO ... i agree. i wasn't refering to race BUT CULTURE in my comment. one thing i discovered is that there are good and bad people of every race, ethnicity and nationality. and there are good and bad cultures. no race has a monopoly on ethics. every race has been both slave owners and the enslaved. all humans are born with the same natural instincts. its what we choose AFTER we're born that determins our individual character. following the paths of ethics, integrity, common sense, common decency and the common good are a choice. and its our culture that either helps us make the right choice or become greedy, self-centered, corrupt predators. compare "hippie" culture of the 60s and 70s with that of rap culture of the last 30 years. the problem with the american black culture is that it stupidly chose the culture of body mutliation, misogyny, hate, corporatism, commercialism, thuggism and gangsterism. unfortunately this INSANITY has infected and corrupted other cultures around the world. stupidity and idiocy seems to spread LIKE A DISEASE around the world while kindness and empathy are so easily stifled. why is that?

@ YES! i've been saying this all over YT for 10 years. "assault" is a threat of violence. "battery" is carrying out that threat. yet i keep seeing cops charge batterers with assault instead of battery and it aggravates the hell out of me!
