CORRUPTION! politicians use tax payer funds to pay corporations to make UNNEEDED changes to communuities usually without the consent of the community. its called capitalism. just look at all the abandoned store fronts, malls, houses and other buildings that LITTER every city and every state. why improve these dilapidated old buildings when you can spend ten times the cost to tear it all down and rebuild NEW BUILDINGS that will become abandoned in a decade or 2? capitalism has no ethics, no respect for the past, the elderly, the infirmed or the poor. all it does is think of new schemes to misappropriate tax-payer funds to make rich people RICHER! i grew up in k.c. on the kansas side in johnson county. left 30 years ago when i was 35. i wonder if charlie hoopers is still up and running in brookside. they used to have the BEST imported beer selection in town. westport was cool but got overcrowded and the plaza's nightlife was basically nil. when i left downtown was being reshaped. a buddy of mine had bought an old, worn out house in an old worn down neighborhood where suburbanites were being encouraged to move to. it was real close to another bar i liked on 31st street. a martini bar i can't remember the name of. i wonder if its still there. thanks for the video.
