I liked them both but the Addams family was more consistent. the earlier episodes of The Munsters, where Gwynne played Herman rather straight, were the best but it seems it wasn't long before they turned Herman into a complete buffoon; an exaggerated child in a Frankenstein's monster outfit. but The Munsters' had that groovy hot rod. but Morticia and Gomez had a sexual relationship and Morticia was just sexy as hell! and although both opening themes were quite enjoyable the Addams' opening was just hipper. and Wednesday and Pugsly were far creepier and funnier than Eddie. the Munster movies ALL sucked and all the Addams Family remakes sucked too! with oddities like Lurch, Uncle Fester, Thing and Cousin It i'd have to say the Addams Family was the better of the two particularly for adult audiences.
