I've said this many times. staggered ten year limits. it can be arranged where every president gets to make a minimum of one and a maximum of 2 supreme court appointments. and we need congressional terms limits. many congressional seats have become essentially life-time appointments. and how about age limits on the presidency? trump, biden and sanders are all in their mid-70's. we need people bringing NEW and innovative ideas to this old archaic, self perpetuating, corrupt system. i'm tired of the old-guard just repackaging old, failed ideas and calling them NEW!

  2. @Greg Potter … no, the supreme court isn't fine. lifetime appointments violate the very principle of democracy. J. Edgar Hoover had a lifetime appoint. FDR, Pelosi and McConnell and many governors and state and local legislators all had or have virtual lifetime appointments. we not only need term limits in the public sector but also in the private sector as well. Gates, Zuckerberg, Murdoch, Bezos and the Koch Brothers, et al, need to all be removed from power and companies that have grown into monopolies need to be socialized NOT broken up. in other words we NEED A goddamned democracy in this country.
