a couple of python corrections here. "... the holy grail" wasn't python's first feature film. in 1974 they released "and now for something completely different" which was a re-filming of some of python's "best" tv skits. in the film "... holy grail" king arthur never retreated. he would yell "run away" in a fightened panic. "retreat" and "run away" are 2 different things and i think that was python's humourous point. everytime i saw you outside continuing your lecture i'd expect to see a sworded knight on a horse riding by and slicing you like the historian lecturer in the film. i think these drawings were more simply a reflection of medieval humor than one of fear of the natural world. humans have a tendency to see humour in the most dire of circumstances. natural disaster, brutality of war or horrible oppression we, for some odd reason, tend to "look on the bright side of life!" thanks for the video. very illuminating.

bugs bunny's entire persona is of a social menace. he caused havoc everywhere he went. poor elmer fudd. but ole elmer never "retreated" or "ran away." a couple of python corrections here.
