  1. gene, his wife ... and their dog... all dead in the same place, at the same time? sounds pretty suspicious to me. we'll miss you gene and your wife. he was also in "the conversation" (1974), "night moves" (1975), "a bridge too far" (1977), "hoosiers" (1986) and "enemy of the state" (1998). he has a credit list a mile long. although i always liked gene hackman as an actor i do believe society places too much importance and admiration on entertainers: actors, singers and athletes. not enough attention or credit is given our REAL everyday heros.
