@BrokenMedic ... ever since the student loan program began being falsely marketed as a means to increase your chances of employment at higher incomes, the number of those holding degrees who're unemployed, underemployed and living in poverty has INCREASED DRAMATICALLY. the student loan program was nothing more than a marketing scam, a commercial to entice more and more into devastating debt and life-long servitude to their creditors, who NOW include banks and the college's themselves. this is how capitalism works: the greater number of something the less value it has. college degrees are now so common they possess NO REAL VALUE at all. the SAME SCAM was pulled during the reagan era concerning farmers. the banks ENTICED family farmers to go into INSANE levels of debt to "modernize" their machinery to increase profits. when the profits didn't come the farmers LOST THEIR FARMS to their debtors. it was NOTHING BUT A LAND GRAB. a scheme to bilk farmers of their land and hand it to the BANKS and the CORPORATIONS! as a result - MILLIONS of farmers lost their farms and the corporations took complete control of the food chain and food prices SKYROCKETED!. the student loan scam IS THE SAME SCAM! its nothing more than a scheme to DE-value college degrees while defrauding people into unrecoverable personal debt. and the same scam is being pulled WITH TECHNOLOGY! @NeuroSeasoned ... there's no fees. its all interest. they've used a scam called "treasury offset" , which was originally used against tax cheats, to take money directly from my disability. every year they apply MORE interest to the claimed debt than what they stole from treasury offset. so now its a life-long, perpetual debt. and the fact that i don't owe it doesn't matter. i'm in the system and they ain't stopping. of course it doesn't matter even if i did owe it. i've paid more than 4 TIMES the original loan. AND THEY AREN'T STOPPING! this is loan sharking pure and simple. and loan sharking is a crime. but not when the education lobby writes laws exempting their industry from this crime. i've notified dozens of politicians, lawyers and even the media. this would make a GREAT news story. it would make the national news. - POOR DISABLED MAN VICTIMIZED BY STUDENT LOAN PROG. i even posted a multi-part youtube video series about it. but, guess what? NO ONE CARES! the idea that the internet can be used to expose and correct injustice, corruption and fraud is a myth. there's millions on-line screaming their heads off right now, just like me, but few hear and even fewer care.
