  1. odd how religion, even more so than politics, brings out the worst in people. it creates suspicion, fear, social divisions and hate. it also results more in hypocrisy, double standards and situational ethics than reverence, true devotion or actual belief. why are people such suckers? because the zealots, extremists and fanatics keep killing the insightful and smart people who know better. the independent, free-thinking, dissident gene is dying out.
