  1. another difference between the two, and another plus for battle royale, is that some of the students attempted not to participate and tried to work together to survive. also, the lighthouse scene is just unbeatable. from the scene's cheery and upbeat beginning to its tragic conclusion its a scene that plays out much like the opening sequence of 28 weeks later. going logically from apparent normalcy to utter mayhem to complete tragedy in a matter of minutes. I've only seen clips of hunger games and from those clips I can clearly see battle royale is the superior film.
