  5. since when do legal "scholars" and lawyers NOT expect the supreme court to uphold the constitution? i'm a legal scholar and i expected them to uphold the law. the supreme court, ITSELF, has violated the 14th amendment by giving aid and comfort to trump, a known insurrectionist. if the 14th amendment applies to federal politicians it also applies to federal appointees, federal employess and federal judges. right now there's 100s, if not 1000s of insurrectionists in state and federal legislatures and courts. it was reported just today that many GOP traitors in several swing states are purging voter rolls in heavily blue districts. AND NO ONE'S STOPPING THEM! the GOP motto is - if we can't get people to vote for us we'll just remove the voters who vote against us. treason has become the GOP standard. all this treason in the name of TRUMP! it defies all logic and reason. in fact it defies the laws of probability. the last 8 years has been a horrific nightmare i can't wake up from!

  8. i agree. cheney's anti-trump stance places her way above so many of her GOP colleagues. both party's should be doing everything in their power to put trump in prison and keep him out of the white house. in fact, the GOP could ban trump from their party. which is what they should've done back in 2016. now the GOP is nothing but a trump cult.   11. since when can a "president" order the justice dept to do anything? much less to dismiss criminal or civil charges against himself that were filed before he became president? the constitution doesn't allow that. but the constitution also doesn't allow trump to file an endless barrage of basesless and frivilous motions and appeals to delay court proceedings. the question is - just when is the constitution OR ANY LAW going to apply to trump?

  14. everyone, it seems, is misinterpreting the SC ruling in trump's favor. all the SC said was that presidents can't be charged for crimes for acts that are official duties. the constitution and federal law plainly lay out a president's official duties and NOWHERE do those official duties include committing crimes. in other words, if there's already a law against it - ITS NOT AN OFFICIAL DUTY! its as simple as that. all trump's trial judges have to do is declare that none of the crimes trump has been charged with are among his official duties as stated in the constitution and federal law. PROBLEM SOLVED! but no. everyone has to make this BIG BROO-HAW-HAW about a SC decision that in fact CHANGES NOTHING! my god, can't any of these "great" legal minds figure that out?

  18. ridiculously and artificially high property values, which negatively effects rental and mortgage rates have been sabotaging the economy since covid. my rent has risen 20% in less than 3 years. and untility costs have artificially risen as well. property values effect all areas of the economy. when they're high the added costs are passed on to the... guess who? US - the consumer. and these high property values are causing prices to surge across the board and creating homelessness, stress and anxiety throughout the country.

  28.  @cwhipp9805  ... we have 3 branches of govt.; executive, legislative and judicial. each branch is supposed to oversee the actions and plans of the other 2 branches. and 2 branches are supposed to oversee the actions of the remaining branch. when one branch fails to honor its constitutional and legal obligations then the entire system becomes moot, ineffective and collapses. that's when the court system takes over. the courts, NOT CONGRESS, holds EVERYONE accountable regardless of their social position or status. if any member of the 3 branches break the laws they swear to uphold then its up to the courts to set it right. and that's whay's happening to trump right now. a simple enforcement of the laws he so brazenly and corruptly violated.

  50. about 9 years ago, 2011 or so, i notified the local bakersfield, ca, FBI office of an extortion plot by my past landlord that garnered him over $50k from me and my parents. it was a federal crime as the extortion occured across state lines. I ALREADY HAD THE EVIDENCE in a letter from the landlord, himself, to my parents and other evidence to back it up. I STILL POSSESS THIS EVIDENCE! the FBI agent called me a liar, said extortion is a "civil" matter and REFUSED to do any investigation at all. he even denied me MY RIGHT to file an official complaint. the FBI is over run with CORRUPTION at every level. that's the sorry state of law enforcemet in this disgusting country called the u. s. a.! i notified the local and national news media who just helped to cover up ALL these crimes.
