since when do legal "scholars" and lawyers NOT expect the supreme court to uphold the constitution? i'm a legal scholar and i expected them to uphold the law. the supreme court, ITSELF, has violated the 14th amendment by giving aid and comfort to trump, a known insurrectionist. if the 14th amendment applies to federal politicians it also applies to federal appointees, federal employess and federal judges. right now there's 100s, if not 1000s of insurrectionists in state and federal legislatures and courts. it was reported just today that many GOP traitors in several swing states are purging voter rolls in heavily blue districts. AND NO ONE'S STOPPING THEM! the GOP motto is - if we can't get people to vote for us we'll just remove the voters who vote against us. treason has become the GOP standard. all this treason in the name of TRUMP! it defies all logic and reason. in fact it defies the laws of probability. the last 8 years has been a horrific nightmare i can't wake up from!

"legalese?" no, its the incessant use of legalese that makes the law so convoluted, distorted and corruptable. i agree with chomsky when he says lawyers are paid to tell us the law doesn't mean what it says. which is very evident in the recent supreme court's ridiculous pro-trump finding. i prefer to use direct, common, everyday language. i'm a legal expert and scholar not a political operative or low-life lawyer. the fact is, WE ALL WITNESSED trump's treason LIVE, on tv, in real time. after several failed attempts to steal the election behind closed doors by other illegal means, trump invited his maga cult to washington d. c. on jan 6, 2021 with the sole intention of inciting them to attack the capitol to stop the legal, peaceful transfer of power. then, again behind closed doors, trump watched the attack unfold on tv cheering the attackers on as many people begged him to stop the attack. HE REFUSED! after about 2 or 3 hours trump, FINALLY, released a video where he called off the attack saying he loved the attackers and supported them. when trump told them to stop THEY STOPPED! based upon all these efforts to steal he 2020 election, not just the capitol attack, he committed treason, an insurection and gave support and comfort to the other insurrectionists. so, after learning all these facts, do you still want to keep praising and supporting a traitor like trump?

@willchristie2650 ... i know what you mean. i'm not far behind you, i'm 65, and i'm glad i won't see humanity become completely enslaved by corporate technology. we're almost there already. how did our species become so gullible, so foolish, so blind to corporate manipulation and lies? since reagan even the left has become more fascist, more intolerant and more fanatical and delusional. all i can say is to create the insane society we know live in something corrupted our education system beyond recognition. if they can't see through trump's lies is it any wonder they can't distinguish fantasy from fiction? i'm at least thankful i won't live to see orwell's "1984" come to fruition. i want no part of any of this craziness.
