"dictatorships" come in many forms. they can be from an individual, a group or a social class. the can be civilian or military. they can be religiously based or secular. they can come from the private sector or the public sector. in any instance they are maintained by a strict, unbending, uncompromising bureacracy that enforces fascist rule. the only difference between "authoritarian" rule and "totalitarian" rule is the technology available to enforce the bureacracy.
the world as we knew it, fairly stable and somewhat sane, ended with the internet. humanity has been suckered into trading what little freedom it had for dependence on and addiction and slavery to corporate technology.
to paraphrase bill gates - the internet only allowed crazy people to find each other. to paraphrase aldous huxley - technology only helps us to move backward more quickly. gullible, lazy, selfish humanity has fallen for the biggest police-state scam in human history.
despite all the warnings throughout the 20th century, and before, people chose convenience and expediency over their own freedom. now, unless society collapses, its too late to save us. welcome to your future.

agreed. trump is the biggest threat we face right this minute. but even without trump we've already entered the realm of fascist, corporate, police-state rule. "maga" or "woke" - it doesn't matter. the corporations, and the elite who control them, already rule us and determins EVERYTHING! both sides are fascist and whichever side wins - WE ALL LOSE!

its nice to see germans stand up against right-wing fascism. but it also must protect against left-wing fascism.
