half the time americans can't even pronounce english right. but when we add an "s" to a word its usually possessive. like if we have a friend named "brian" we'll say - let's go to brian's. so when they say "aldi's" its probably the same type of thing. otherwise i was saying most of these brand names fairly correctly. i usually know when an "e" on the end of word should be "long," "short" or silent. thanks for the video.

sounds like commercialism, as it does with everything, really destroyed this event. so sad. this happens a lot in the u. s. just look at ANY major concert or the superbowl. perfect examples of events that used to be fun and afforadable but thanks to massive commercialism are now just insanely stressful and ridiculously overpriced. i bet it was real fun back in 1820. love the braids and the lederhosen - youssa youssa! i love the germans. thanks for the video.

i live in an apt complex and idiots drive the 100 feet to retrieve their mail. also, for some odd reason, our mail IS NO LONGER delivered to our homes but to group mail boxes that serve many homes. as for toast, subway, the restaurant, asks if you want your sandwich "toasted" when they actually mean heated-up in a microwave. americans are morons. we sit back and allow politicians and corporations corrupt and change everything that was once perfectly convenient, functional and logical in our once great, but fastly deteriorating, country. in the u. s., when we change things we make them WORSE not better. i think that's kinda weird.

in the clasic 1927 german expresionist film "metropolis" there's a memorial to the dead wife of a scientist who's name is helga, i believe. but the name is shortened in the film to the nickmane "hel." the censors in the u. s. removed all the scenes that showed this memorial because they claimed american viewers would think it was a reference to hell. so silly. like they thought americans had no brains and couldn't figure it out. how did you lose your german accent so quickly. you sound as american as i do. personally i love accents. any accents. i find them quite endearing. thanks for the video.

one thing you'll notice in the states is that there are drastic differences just in the cities or states. what's "normal" in one city can actually be illegal in another city or state. when i moved from KCMO to baltimore, then chicago, then warrensburg, mo and then los angeles i had to adapt to the local way of doing things. this can be both exciting and a pain in tuchus. thanks for the video.

actually the few american poor who "own" houses inherit them and live in rural areas or slums. its NOT common for the poor to own homes. they can't afford the property, the building or the taxes. today we have a MASS housing shortage in the states. the numbers of the homeless who are priced out of even apartment living is SKYROCKETING! corporations are buying up apt complexes driving up costs and forcing people and families onto the streets, to live with family or friends or to live in their cars. THE U. S. SUX!

in the u. s. we don't have "nude" beaches. but we have a few "clothing optional" beaches. zuma beach near L. A. and black's beach in san diego were 2 examples but i don't know if they're still clothing optional or not. i remember going to black's beach when i was 17 and it was heaven on earth. before i got naked everyone stared at me as if i had lobsters crawling out of my ears. after i got naked no one looked. but man, i sure looked. it was BEAUTIFUL! we do have "nudist colonies" or "nudist resorts." but i can't find them. they probably cost too much for me to join anyway. back in the 20s and 30s naturism was popuarized through low-budget films. to show nudity on film required a so-called "legitimate" cultural purpose. and naturism fit this requirement. and of course the 60s hippie movement repopularized nudism. i have more to write but my comment's too long as it is. so, thanks for the video.

its a difficult subject to discuss. much like americans dealing with its horrible history of slavery, jim crow and the genocide of native peoples. no one can be blamed for the actions of their ancestors. UNLESS they deny their past or excuse or perpetuate those past mistakes. no nation, race, ethnicity or religion is completely devoid of past atrocities. and no race has a monoploy on virtue, compassion and ethics. i suggest reading "the rise and fall of the third reich" (1960, by william l. shirer) to find some truths on the subject of nazi brainwashing of almost an entire people. also, albert speer"s "inside the third reich" is a good source as well. the nazis actually got a lot of their procedural ideas from the american "jim crow" south. and there were many pro-nazi americans; henry ford and charles lindbergh among them. thanks for the video.

in the u. s. americans must also have their cars inspected for safety every couple of years and snow tires are required during snow fall. but snow tires have been largely replaced with "all weather" tires which i'm sure is the same in germany. these are GREAT ideas not bad ones. auto safety is important for all society. the problem arises when the poor can't afford to keep their cars safe. the poor are punished for their poverty. if the state REQUIRES citizens to do something its ILLEGAL for the state to charge you for it. if the state wants something done then it MUST use taxes to do it. that way the poor aren't penalized for being poor. poverty, itself, is a crime against humanity. thanks for the video.

i've been suffering for over 8 years due to extremely noisy neighbors. we have laws against this crap too but our cops refuse to enforce these laws. i report these crimes and the cops refuse to even show up. and the lease protects me from excessive noise but the landlord refuses to enforce the lease. just this weekend my neighbors attacked me with two 12 hour racket marathons that literally rattle my windows. this is an almost daily occurance for the last 8 YEARS! THIS IS HAVING A HORRIBLE EFFECT ON MY HEALTH and no one gives a damn!
