  1. in the u. s. we don't have "nude" beaches. but we have a few "clothing optional" beaches. zuma beach near L. A. and black's beach in san diego were 2 examples but i don't know if they're still clothing optional or not. i remember going to black's beach when i was 17 and it was heaven on earth. before i got naked everyone stared at me as if i had lobsters crawling out of my ears. after i got naked no one looked. but man, i sure looked. it was BEAUTIFUL! we do have "nudist colonies" or "nudist resorts." but i can't find them. they probably cost too much for me to join anyway. back in the 20s and 30s naturism was popuarized through low-budget films. to show nudity on film required a so-called "legitimate" cultural purpose. and naturism fit this requirement. and of course the 60s hippie movement repopularized nudism. i have more to write but my comment's too long as it is. so, thanks for the video.
