  1. in the clasic 1927 german expresionist film "metropolis" there's a memorial to the dead wife of a scientist who's name is helga, i believe. but the name is shortened in the film to the nickmane "hel." the censors in the u. s. removed all the scenes that showed this memorial because they claimed american viewers would think it was a reference to hell. so silly. like they thought americans had no brains and couldn't figure it out. how did you lose your german accent so quickly. you sound as american as i do. personally i love accents. any accents. i find them quite endearing. thanks for the video.
