what's sad is that humanity continues to prefer fantasy to reality. you can't make reality better if YOU are stuck in a fantasy world! people take fairy tales, magical pixies, snake oil salesmen and con-artists way too seriously. will humanity ever GROW UP? or will we forever be at the mercy of foolish, gullible, superstitious morons? its not the gangsters and con-artists who're dangerous. its the immature idiots who never reach mental or emotional adulthood that believe them who're dangerous.

jesus was neither a miracle worker or a magician. he was a combination of a social revolutionary and a religious, jewish zealot. he rebelled against the corruption of the jewish elite and wanted a return to jewish traditionalism that he, and many others, believed the jewish elite had betrayed. but he also denounced some jewish customs as archaic and elitist in nature. for example, he rejected the customary jewish servile treatment of women. he was also a revolutionary in the sense of denouncing the roman occupation of the jewish homeland. so both the corrupt roman and jewish establishment saw him as a social agitator, rebel rouser and a political threat to the established order. jesus wasn't the first or the only person to be declared an enemy of the state during this time. jesus never performed any miracles or magic tricks. these stories were added later in the hopes of turning jesus' social teachings into a pagan religion as writers borrowed stories from pagan religions to add to the narrative. astrological signiicance were mixed with babolonian and egyption mysticism to turn jesus into a god. just look at some of jesus' miracles claimed in the gnostic books and the story lines promoted by the Essenes. the true story and intent of jesus, that is UNIVERSAL LOVE, was corrupted by the new testiment not a reflection of it.

nice overview but i'm afraid the belief's in god and the true nature of reality are STILL in flux and always will be (in this realm anyway.). who's to say today's believers are any more accurate in their interpretations than they were 2000 years ago. also the 13th demon reference could also refer to the disciples themselves (mary magdalene included... or not) thanks for the video.

why? the book of enoch is obviously written by some deranged lunatic. preserving it for historical posterity is one thing. but claiming its worthy of being called the word of god is another. religion is crazy enough without adding that nonsense to it. it should be held as an example of the the bible's relationship to old greek mythology and hindu mysticism.

you know, my brother's friend's girlfriend's mailman's uncle's gardener's neighbor knew enoch personally. he say's he was one partin' fool. he used to love those 'shrooms. is there any mention of that in the book enoch?

I always found it odd that the christians portray judas as the "betrayer" of jesus. if judas hadn't done what he did jesus would've been unable to fulfill his mission. he was merely doing what god had assigned him to do. thanks for the video.
