yep, the reality is few were concerned with voting integrity UNTIL trump started his lying campaign attacking it for the last 5 years. trump "won" in 2016 but STILL claimed the process was rigged against him. he spends four years in the whitehouse making no attempt at reforming the process just to RESTATE his lies in 2020. AND THE DAMNED GOP jumped on trump's CRAZY wagon and helped spread his lies. over the last 40 years, the GOP has grown more corrupt, unscrupulous and obstructionist in there political approach and tactics.

nope. i think that's about it. oh, there's MONEY! both parties agree that, money and capitalism should determine all social considerations and that rich people should rule us. they don't agree on HOW this should be done but that it should be done.

good analogy. one of the main reasons the senate doesn't work is mcconnell's OWN obstructionism. i'd say vote him out but that's pointless as long as the american voter continues to think every politician is corrupt but the ones they vote for. we desperately need both term and age limits. but don't expect these reforms any time soon as those who benefit from the lack of limits maintain their corrupt stranglehold on american politics.

@shillgates6664 ... that's the 2nd most stupid thing i read today. i'm damned tired of 70 and 80 year olds' monopoly on political power in MY country. trump, biden, mcconnell and pelosi are ALL near 80! and they're not the only ones! its time they step down from power and hand the baton to the next generation. what are you? some kind of a nut?

one thing that needs to be done is distinguish the chinese "communist" party from the philosophy and ideology of communism. the chinese communist party is no communist than the american democratic party is democratic or the american republican party is republican. the chinese govt has never been communist, they aren't communist now and they aren't headed in any communist direction. i think its damned time we start recognizing the realities of the world rather than just continuing to accept the fantasies and lies our oligarchs spoon feed us from birth.

@rmark1083 ... thanks for your response. this is the same thing i went through before. i received the 2nd, $600 stimulus the same weekend the legislation was passed. the first, $1200 stimulus took me 3 months to get. i have direct deposit for my social security. you'd think it'd be the simplest thing in the world to release that money to us very quickly. we keep being told how wonderful all this technology being forced on us is. yet, it seems its rarely used to HELP us but is more often used as an excuse to harm us. why do people keep falling for these technocratic lies?

@kathyweis7023 ... thanks. i'm afraid you're right. its hard to believe there are still pro-trump trolls out there. especially after he's killed over 500,000 americans and sent a mob to the capital intent upon murdering congress. i swear, why isn't trump arrested yet? why hasn't he been placed under oath ABOUT ANY CRIME he's committed over the last 5 years? why is this madman allowed to continue to roam free and spread his harmful lies? i think trump's privilege has gotten him far enough. its damned time he be held accountable for the horrendous harm he's done our country.
