any one of the justices could've accepted the case. this means the so-called "liberal" justices agreed to delay the inevitable. of course smith should continue the prosecution even if there's no resolution to the question by the trial date. we ALL know trump doesn't have life-long, absolute immunity from prosecution. the very idea is absurd on its face.
