  1. i sure wish people would stop misrepresenting stalin, or the soviets, as communist or socialist. nothing could be further from the truth. nothing is defined by what it calls itself. since socialism IS defined as anti-elitist, anti-military and anti-oppression, murder and genocide stalin and the soviets don't come close to fitting the bill. many who call themselves socialist are no more actual socialists than many who claim to be Christian are actual Christians.
