i think, as the experiment allows both groups to feel supoerior and prejudiced against, the idea was to teach them empathy not hate. the sad part is that people can't figure out how horrible discrimination and prejudice is just through EMPATHY! i'm white. i was never subject to "experiments" such as this. yet i can't ever remember having a prejudiced view of ANYONE for any REASON! i've never possessed preconceptions or styereotypical opinions of anyone. i've always treated people according to their character not their physical characteristcs. part of this might've been due to my parents. i can't ever remember a prejudiced view or racial slur come from parents. but both of my siblings became bigots. so maybe it has to do with peer preasure as well. i always thought my siblings' friends were racist jerks but i didn't have friends like that. i believe empathy is a natural instinct that all humans were born with. HATE IS A LEARNED ATTRIBUTE! no one is born to hate or to think of themselves as superior. why its so difficult for people to stand up to peer and social preasures i'll never understand. i've stood up to bullies, thugs and bigots my whole life. so here's my question - does my natural ability to exhibit empathy make ME SUPERIOR to others? should my empathy allow me special privileges and social status?

@DoltonI ... you think people who know they're not intrinsically superior to anyone else is superior to those who believe they're superior to others? do people who reject special privilege and accept equality deserve special privilege over those who think they deserve privileges others don't recieve? i think i'm trying to point out the contradiction of such thinking. or maybe i'm pointing the logic of it. are people who believe they're superior really inferior? and should they be discriminated against for their inferiority? don't get me wrong. i have my prejudices. they just aren't based upon race, ethnicity or religion. i hate people who hate. i really don't like greed or rich people. i despise manipulators, liars, bullies, thugs, profiteers and any predator. AND I ABSOLUTELY HATE FASCISM whether it comes from "right" or "left." are my prejudices better than the prejudices of others?

@megamushroom ... well, let me just say my position is totally ANTI-FASCIST! i expose, denounce and reject fascism wherever it rears its ugly head. and, today, fascists have taken over the so-called "left" and "right." there were NO "trans" people when i was young. they don't really exist today. they're actually "gender dysphorics" who suffer from a mental illness. they believe they're something they aren't. and i hold no prejudice against the mentally ill. i've suppported gay rights since i was 12. they've achieved TOTAL equality by law. they can't be discriminated against in employment, housing or taxes. my only complaint now is that they no longer seek equality. they now seek PRIVILEGE and DOMINANCE! and they're trying to normalize mental illness for some odd reason. by demanding the absudities and delusions of the mentally ill become normalized the so-called gay's are now responsible for much of the fear, divisions, hatred and censorship in the country. maga and the gay-lobby are just alike and they hate each other for it. obesity is currently at epidemic proportions. calling a fat person fat isn't an insult. (but it can be.) its demonstrating a concern for their physical well being. otherwise, the obese people i've known have been very kind people. i don't hate people for being fat. i'm concerned for their health and quality of life. as for vegans. why on earth would i be prejudiced against someone for their choice of food? eat what you like. what the hell do i care? i hope this answers your question.

@megamushroom .... just yesterday YT CENSORED ME! all these fascist's said was that i might be posting comments that might be offending the precious fascist sensibilities of their "community." NO PERSON MADE THAT DECISION. just an a. i. algorithm. they wouldn't tell me what comment was so horrible or allow me to challenge their fascist decision. i CAN'T contact them in any way. they possess no customer service or complaint dept. you're cellphone and the internet are NOTHING but corporate scams to spy on you, track you, lie to you, steal from you and control you. the fascist corporate police-state tell us what to think and what we can say. i post comments that expose the horrific fascism from both sides. we're under threat from fascism from the right and left. which ever side wins WE ALL LOSE!

@symptomofsouls ... tell me about it. no race has a monopoly on ethics or hate. over the last 30 years i've been screwed, one way or another, by virtually everyone and anyone i've embraced as a friend or turned to for help. society is much colder, crueler and apathetic than it used to be. people are much more delusional, fanatical and extemist than just a few decades ago. the correlation between the current collapse of society and the rise of technology can't be denied. yet i hear NO ONE talking about it. go figure.

@depravedsouls9975 ... man, you got that right. being a droplet of reason in an ocean of madness is no easy task. being constantly attacked by the right and left can be quite exhausting. and on top of that there's daily problems i face without one iota of support from ANYONE is almost too much to take. i'm pushed and pulled from every direction. i'm denied medical care and legal representation. i'm about to become homeless although i can pay rent. there's no one i can turn to for help. i've notified the news media, politicians, doctors, lawyers and i scream for help almost everyday on-line! NO ONE CARES! THIS WORLD REALLY SUX!
