AND I LIVE IN POVERTY! in the last 2 years alone i've been robbed and defrauded by my landlord, wells fargo, at&t, spectrum, uber, carmax, wards, hewlette packard and amazon. (and this is a short list.) and EVERY govt agency with a legal mandate to protect me from this robbery and fraud has REFUSED to do so. your complaint is against an overly aggressive govt with the mandate to protect the public. my complaint is against a corrupt, ineffective govt that refuses to protect me from overly aggressive businesses stealing from and abusing me on a regular basis. i think i have a bigger problem than you do.

  2. this has been happening in L. A. for over a decade now. through artificially inflated and insanely high property values L. A. has been purging itself of the poor. but only those poor who can afford to leave can do so. i'm one of them. the rest of the poor must stay and suffer often becoming homeless as a result. isn't capitalism great?

  4.  @cbriangilbert1978  ... agreed. i saw a news story about a year, or so, ago that talked about how mere millionaires in Manhattan were having a tough time affording to live there. capitalism is making it hard for even millionaires to survive. (as opposed to multi-millionaires and billionaires.) yet, they continue to stay capitalists despite the evidence in their own lives that its a perpetual rabbit hole of endless fluctuations and instability. the delusional state of humanity from ALL sides continues to astound me. how did humanity become so gullible? so idiotic? so hypocritical and incapable of objective reasoning? as far as i'm concerned BOTH SIDES are absolutely nuts and living in fantasy world's of their own making.
