  4. i'd say your final conclusion is very objective and right on target. there's adjustments BOTH sides could make that would lead to more sensibility for all concerned. I just wonder how representative you are of your particular community. as an equalist I recognize that the "leadership" on both sides adopt extremist positions on issues like this to DIVIDE us and distract us from the REAL problems that we ALL face. like the police state, perpetual war and growing poverty. when people decide to reject the extremism their respective "leadership" shoves down their throats then we can concentrate on these real issues. let people live as they want, stop demanding privilege and domination over others, accept biological reality, DEFY your leadership and think for yourselves - and lets start fixing the real problems that plague humanity and cause human misery.

  8. +phillip... i'm not talking about how you live my friend. that concerns gender roles not gender. society, not biology, determines these roles and they're based upon bias and stereotypes. we ALL have a human right to live as we choose. i'm talking strictly biology and reality. regardless of how you feel or behave nature decides your gender. nature doesn't give us choice to decide our gender - but society MUST allow us to choose our gender roles! but choosing your gender roles doesn't give you the privilege to deny biology and choose your own bathrooms. nor does it give the privilege to the advantage of competing against biological women in sports. as soon as "transgenders" stop demanding these 2 privileges and stop denying their true biological gender you'll have me as your most ardent ally. as an equalist I despise fascism from the right and left and defend the human rights of EVERYONE!

  12. +soloman… do women slap you around a lot and claim you can't hit them back? you're argument is silly and not based upon real situations. also, it sounds like you're just trying to find an excuse to physically dominate and abuse women. here's my advice; if a women strikes you she probably has a damned good reason. don't strike her back! take the hit and just walk away! BE A MAN! lastly, I don't see a distinction between fair and equal rights. as far as i'm concerned they're the same thing.

  13. +soloman… I was speaking of fair and equal in social and political terms. no society is fair unless its equal. and that includes FULL equality for women as well. I agree that in some respects women have made some gains in that area but all you need do is look at the rape culture, pay discrepancies and lack of women in high ranking political and business positions to see there's a long way to go. when a nation allows an admitted womanizer and rapist to pretend to be president - WE STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO!

  14. and i'm talking EQUALITY not privilege. it IS possible for women to be accepted as equal partners in society WITHOUT removing any rights from men. bur when it comes to slapping people, I say that's one area we men can give woman a break. sometimes men are such A-holes they need a damned good slap to keep them in line. and no man should EVER slap a woman - NEVER!

  15. +soloman… that's the myth. companies use 2 lies to justify paying women less; 1) a general prejudice against them with the belief they're not as good workers as men and with less company loyalty and the propensity to put family first; 2) because they see women as secondary wage earners thinking men are and should be the major wage earners for their families. only unions protected wage equity and with unions being busted nationally so goes any hope of REAL pay equity.
