so-called "filter bubbles" are real. the internet may, or may not thanks to algorithms, give us access to differing opinions but if we decline to click on them then they don't really give us differing opnions. its no different than choosing one tv news source over another. i guess you could call it "self-brainwashing." or "WILLFUL IGNORANCE!" its a REAL thing. a mental disease, a mass psychosis inflicting most of humanity. thankfully, i don't need someone else to point out differing views. when i hear something i AUTOMATICALLY think of the alternative and reflect on it. i wasn't always like this. i had to train myself to do it. i conditioned myself to NOT knee-jerk react to everything i see and hear. empathy is a natural human extinct that's corrupted by our rulers, the corporations and politicians. so i had to RE-learn how to empathize and see NOT THE OTHER SIDE but all sides of an issue. i'm still not perfect at it. its hard to reject 60 years of brainwashing. but i'm better at it than 99% of humanity. AND SOCIETY MAKES ME SUFFER FOR MY EMPATHY EVERYDAY!
