QUIT SAYING LIES AREN'T ILLEGAL! of course they are. they're fraud, misrepresentation and disinformation. ALL CRIMES! lies aren't protected by the 1st amendment or any statute anywhere, in any muncipaliaty or nation on earth in history. could you imagine some legislature somewhere passing a law stating lying, fraud and misrepresentation ARE LEGAL! that some faction of society can do it but others can't? society would collapse under widespread doubt, suspicion and disbelief of EVERYTHING! no one could ever trust anyone else - EVER! so, YES, lying is a crime. has been in every society in the history of earth. so stop trying to normalize and rationalize it!

@rogerout8875 ... actually that's not true. the 1st amendment doesn't protect liars from their lies or con-artists from their fraud. that was my point. the 1st amendment protects differing opinions. not lies to support those opinions. if the only way you can defend your opinion is through a falsehood or a lie, then maybe you should rethink your opinion.

@rogerout8875 ... and he should've been! the fact that our govt so often refuses to enforce its own laws was also my point. if politicians and corporations were held to telling the truth the politicians would never be elected and the corporations would never sell anything. the ENTIRE american political and economic systems are fueled BY FRAUD!

trump has kept almost his entire life a secret from the public. thats what all his ILLEGAL NDAs are for. to keep his shameful past hidden. his medical records, his education records and tax returns are still being hidden from public scrutiny. trump could've avoided all this heartache, the investigations, the convictions, the spending money to defend himself, by just not running for president. none of this would be happening to him. he would've gotten away with all his crimes! trump did all this TO HIMSELF!

@kevinlehman557 ... ain't that the truth? i realized trump was a blowhard, scumbag the first time i saw his ugly mug on tv probably nearly 40 years ago. for 40 years i've switched the channel everytime he appears on tv. imagine the nightmare i've been forced to endure the last 9 years he's DOMINATED and monopolized the daily news cycle!
