  2. personally, i'm not a big fan of the term "hate-crime." you ever hear of a "love-crime?" you think home invasions are love-ins? ALL CRIMES ARE HATE CRIMES! there shouldn't be EXTRA punishment for crimes committed against certain types of people. that's as stupid as "open-carry" laws. so, white and straight victims of crimes don't get equal consideration as blacks or gays? WHO SAYS SO?! look at all the crimes against women. from cheating them on financial transactions to rape! even serial killers are more likely than not to target women. yet these crimes aren't called "hate-crimes." you ever hear of a rape that wasn't the result of extreme misogyny? NO, a crime is a crime and the punishment should be THE SAME regardless of who the victim is!
