i think civil war started back when ford illegally "pardoned" nixon and the dems didn't challenge it. things have becoming more unstable and more crazy, ON BOTH SIDES, ever since. bush sr. and barr then illegally pardoned reagan and his iran/contra cohorts and again the dems didn't challenge it. then we got clinton, bush jr and obama to divide americans even more. trump and maga are the culmination of 50 years of insanity, pointless conflict and needless divisions.

@earlofmar7987 ... what bolsheviks? what makes you think they were marxists? they stole the russian revolutuion from the mensheviks who were TRUE socialists. marx never advocated mass arrests or mass murder. that's what fascists do, not socialists or marxists. marx is no more responsible for the crimes committed in his name than jesus is responsible for crimes committed in his name. calling yourself something and being it are two different things. i would've thought EVERYONE had figured that out by now. @earlofmar7987 ... i don't think you do understand the difference. that's why i have to explain it to you. many on the left make the same mistake about calling stalin and mao "marxists." many even perpetuate the error that they were socialist. i try to explain to them but they don't listen to me either. i just reject what people call themselves if they don't possess any of those characteristics. socialism, nor marxism, is about authoritarianism or tyranny. that's the whole point! socialism was always intended to be the antithesis of oppresion. otherwise there'd be no reason for it to exist. it would be no different than what we already had. what surprises me is that so few have figured that out yet. so i point it out whenever i can.
