  47. but the problem is - who decides when the point of "unable to Pay" is reached? on what criteria do you base this decision? when the seniors are completely destitute? my parents are both in their late 80's. they acted responsibly, as the capitalists told them, and saved money for 65 years to have a comfortable retirement. all that money they saved is nearly gone now and my dad was just put into a care facility. it costs $180 A DAY plus expenses. and the wonderful capitalist state won't help with much of the costs because they claim my mom is too well off. but she's near poverty ALREADY. so the govt is saying to my mom , hey, we'll help a lot more ONCE you become destitute. there's something VERY wrong with a system like that.
