what they're saying is - what's wrong with using an attorney to commit crimes on your behalf? its genius because attorney/client privilege allows the attorney to keep the crimes of their clients covered-up. they don't know the law and don't care about the law. man, i coulda told you 50 years ago lawyers are OFFICERS of the court. and as such they can't be used to commit a crime or to cover-up criminal acts. the reality is a lawyer can't defend a client he knows is guilty. but its done all the time. lawyers aren't paid to get the guilty off. they're paid to represent their client based upon the truth. not lie for them. lawyers have just as much obligation to make sure the laws are enforced as anyone else in society is.
