he definately should be held in custody until sentencing. like you said, he presents a clear and present danger to the u. s., just like trump. and he poses a real flight risk.

@SeanPat1001 ... in this case bannon has no defense. he was subpeoned. he ignored the subpeona and now he must go to jail. sometimes the law is really that simple.

there's all kinds of similarities between maga and trump and the nazis and hitler. 1-6-21 was trump's "beer-hall putsch." this was trump's attempt to emulate mussolini's march on rome 1922. trump even wanted to march on congress himself, leading his mob, just as mussolini did. the reality is, though, trump's coup occurred in the 2016 election that he stole through election fraud (not voter fraud) and putin's assistance. 1-6 was the attempt to continue this coup for another 4 years. trump was no more "elected" president in 2016 than he was in 2020. the mueller report proved that.

true. fascists say they want small govt but they're notorious liars. they use language they think their supporters want to hear. but fascists are authoritarians. they want a govt, small or large, powerful enough to rule with an iron fist. fascists want the govt to enforce the will of the ruling elite. to protect the wealth and privilege of the elite. another way they misrepresent their true intentions is they're strictly anti-democratic. they want rule, not through the govt public sector but through the rule of the elite through the private sector. what they really mean by small govt is a govt that doesn't interfere with the elite's ability to do as they please. non-restricted capitalism; also known as laissez-faire economics. but an authoritarian govt is needed to protect the rulers from the ruled. so don't be fooled. by "small govt" fascists mean a govt that doesn't interfere with business but allows business to interfere with us. consumers, employees and society itself, are all here just to serve the elite.

@SeanPat1001 ... no worries. i doubt if bannon, trump or any of these other rich traitors will ever see the inside of a jail cell. to paraphrase nixon - if a rich person does it, it means its not a crime. that's how american justice works.

@SeanPat1001 ... may i remind you, bannon never went to jail. trump pardoned him before his sentence began. michael cohen went to jail. but the person who ordered him to commit those crimes and who benefitted from those crimes is still free and spreading treasonous lies throughout the country. don't expect any real justice to occur in this country. its too far gone.

bannon is more like a "trump jr" than trump jr is. he and trump are just alike. their strategies are taken directly from the fascist handbook - NEVER back down, NEVER admit to a mistake and NEVER admit guilt. trump's done this his whole life. every true failure he claims as a success. his denials of his numerous bankruptcies, his altering of weather maps, his "russia hoax" claims, his "perfect phone call" to zelinsky, his refusal to admit doctors know more about deadly viruses than him and his "big lie" about the 2020 election are all prime examples of his use of this fascist tactic. bannon's doing the exact same thing.
