  16. in the old days when companies did this stuff we left take prodigy online for an example and when people left something we went somewhere else and thenn sometimes the company changes rules back to try to stop people from leaving we also used to use more then one search engine and have several ways to get your news out remember having your own HOMEPAGE? news group bulletin board. and so on. some where in the last ten years every one forgot how to use the internet and let them funnel us into one less then five websites. and 15 years it was considered bad business to completley use a third party site for a website. and it was idiotic for your home pages to point away from your own homepage and websites. Why the hell did we stop leaving sites that treat us like crap is it a new bdsm fetish where people just like to be abused thrown down the stairs and set on fire? Hey FB was mean to me. remember WE USED to have or own website.

  29. never use Wikipedia for an encyclopedia it is a collection of 8th-grade essays written for five-year-olds actual real encyclopedias do exist. then you wonder how Wikipedia can be misleading. google is not a search engine and Wikipedia is not an encyclopedia.

  30. I never understood why the hell something that used to be relegated to the guest book on a home page. Took off, I know no one knew what the hell to do with it, or similar sites. But I got plurk. Which is better if you have to have a micro blog. And it lets you customize and edit.

  35.  @Lorkisen  i am not sure about that i do know some people had issues with go daddy they hopped on the sjjw rap so i canceled mine from them plus they tried to seelit back to me for 10 000 dollars LOL but at leas theire are still alternative to hosting platforms and people willing to sell domain names. our biggest problem is people dont even know how to look for alternatives anymore. they just wait for some oen to tellthem about it. in the ld days we had three or four engines we used and some were better a t finding stuff then others. in ten years 4 companies destroyed the internet

In my day when COMPANIES did this crap we LEFT for other sites even if they were smaller. the only reason people think there is no alternative is that no one knows how to use the internet anymore
