I think our biggest problem was we started to outsource our content to third party outlets, we stopped hosting our own stuff on our own webpages and servers even though memory is no longer an issue any more domain names are fairly cheap, servers are fairly cheap turning a spare computer into a server is fairly cheap.but somehow over the last ten years we stopped using multiple search engines we stopped using chatrooms aside from using them as booty calls. and we let ourselves get funned into using only 4 companies and there is no excuse for it since we had all these alternatives. ten years ago, mow we spend all day long complaining about being abused while being on the platforms that abuse us. its kind of like complaining about youtube and facebook and twitter throwing you down the stairs, while being thrown down the stairs over and over again so then you climb back up the stairs to get thrown down them again. then wonder why they keep pushing you down the stairs?

  1002.  @Vaga-Bard  and there is a difference between organic changes and forced changes. these latest updates are not organic, back in the day a room full of language experts, historians and so on would gather in a room and determine if a meaning has changed if the word is still used, if the word is just a fad if there are enough people using it to justify an update, they been changing definition's overnight on the fly without a room full of people debating.
