  2.  @kingsleebrigade6714  that's a two part question. What should have happened first is getting the American citizens and our allies out before the deadline arrived and our military in particular should have remained in place and held back the Taliban until everyone was out. Leaving the equipment behind was a royal screw up regardless how it happened. We should have never trusted the will of the Afghan male population to want the kind of freedom for the female population that was knocking on the front door.
