@cfromkc5096 Republicans got control of the north where slavery was not practiced in large numbers. If both parties were responsible then how do you explain that?

@cfromkc5096 the split was Republicans trying to stop slavery but black people don't even care. They willingly sold themselves to Democrats for welfare. Every civil rights bill was passed by Republicans at a much higher percentage than by Democrats. Democrats actually voted against almost all of them and didn't even want black people to be recognized as humans yet here you are defending them.

@cfromkc5096 there was only a Democrat party when slavery started and then people against slavery left them and formed the Republican party to combat against it. You can spin it all you like but the Democrat party is responsible for all the terrible things black people went through and they are responsible for the ghettos and terrible schools that black Americans are still living with. They think black Americans are too incompetent to even figure out how to do something as simple as getting an ID. They also believe black Americans are too ignorant to get an education or job without racist Democrats lowering the bar for them. We believe everyone is totally equal and that nobody needs special treatment.

Republicans died by the tens of thousands to free Democrats slaves just to have black people spit in their faces to get family killing welfare and fake promises from Democrats .

@cfromkc5096 LBJ was a racist scumbag and only signed it because he had no choice. It was either sign it or have the Democrat party become nonexistent. He called black people the n word when signing it. Republicans are the ones that voted for it at a much higher percentage than Democrats too.
