@andrewwomble2722 This will be paid for with taxpayer money. the grid upgrade will likely take a trillion+ dollars nation wide.. but you go ahead and pay for it.

They all have one thing in common,they can't seem to do basic math which easily shows their plans wont work... i guess that is what happens when they think 2+2=5

@soniag4516 I live in Texas, i grow my own garden and have a dozen fruit and nut trees,a well for water and solar for backup.. enjoy your state and its blackouts. Whatever you do place stay there and dont send more californicans here.

@andrewwomble2722 nothing,i just dont want to be billed for infrastructure for electric cars i don't have or use. The grid here has always been incredibly reliable. i have no complaints with it in nearly 40 years. electric cars will tax it soon though i suspect.

Its a boondoggle money grab and people like Al Gore have gotten rich from it,they want you to pay carbon taxes and all this nonsense to "save the environment",not sure how lining someones pocket saves anything LOL Its all based on junk science.

@michellelowe15 Do you think trains and stuff use no power? also they don't go everywhere.The netherlands is tiny and the USA is huge and i'm in Texas where there are great distances between places. I don't want to loose my freedom of mobility for anyones pipe dream.

@bobsaturday4273 There are more people without solar and batteries than people with it. Not to mention you need a substantial battery bank to do it and a large investment(unless your getting kickbacks paid for by the US tax payer). Grid tie solar without batteries can't store power,it must be used.
