@Mayonnaisetdy The only problem with that is not all houses have a south face,so solar doesn't work well on all homes. Not all states have california weather,some have 3-4 months of good weather and snow and ice. I have 8kw up and it does horrible on cloudy,rainy,overcast days and dull gray winters.. IF you got any government rebates,then your welcome,because that is other peoples tax money that helped pay for your system-not all states have these incentives. If you have no inverter failures or hail broken panels you might get the 25 years. your idea is as practical as no fossil fuel in the USA. Most wind and solar is manufactured thanks to fossil fuel along with a majority of stuff in your house,clothes,utensils,appliances etc. as well as electric cars too. Do you think solarcells,glass,plastic sheets,and aluminum frames appear out of thin air or windmill blades and parts for that matter?

@Mayonnaisetdy The entire crooked Biden regime,the WEF,Agenda 2030 all say they want no fossil fuel,seriously where have you been? 5 minutes after Biden took office he started shutting down fossil fuel drilling and pipelines and no new drilling contracts,and just recently sold off our national oil reserves.They specifically tell you to just go buy a electric car! So,ok,you want new homes there mandatory built with solar,homes which already cost so much and were out of reach of most people,you want to add $20K+ to the price(more or less).. its not about green energy(which doesn't exist),its about GREEN WASHING,pushing BS that can't work or run our entire country. anyone with 3rd grade math skills can figure out it doesn't work. Typical solar panel efficiency is 21% IF you can get those panels which is horrible. The Texas freeze we had last year was not about lack of prep or a bad grid,our energy people specifically told Biden we needed to bring coal plants back online to counter it,but he said no,these plants were originally shut down because of Obama. Our grid is not setup for that kind of cold,true,but we didnt have a chance to even meet power demand because of this lousy administration. Windmills were all frozen in ice and solar had a sheet of ice over it,completely failing. I believe one thing,you are the true typical Californian.

@Mayonnaisetdy Of course,the tax payers paid for part of it. Your needs are not the same as everyone else. My panels are 20% efficient and that is still below a ice engines 25% and way under a diesels 50%. I don't kid myself. Pretty dismal performance even if you consider days i get 95% of panel rating. Again its a math thing. ROI is never the whole story.

@Dorothy Kilmeade The fossil fuel industry likely sponsors many media so that proves nothing. Al gore and his kickback croanies pushed junk science global warming nonsense that has been completely proven wrong and when that fell thru it became climate change. the polar bears still here,Florida and California not under water,and the world hasn't ended. Much of the media are a bunch of fear mongering parrots who just repeat what they are told and often do little to no research. The same people pushing climate change are the ones demonizing Co2,which plants need and give us O2 in return,so why would u believe their nonsense.. carbon MonOXIDE, however is a pollution but its rarely mentioned. Nature and the climate are ever changing,but it doesn't mean the sky is falling. If anything geoengineering is a large part of the problem trapping heat in. I'd like to see how buying nonsense carbon credits and being charged a carbon tax helps do anything but like these criminals pockets,considering most everything on earth contains carbon. A consensus among scientists is not proof,and like many things they are wrong more often than not. Maybe we should question your low IQ.

Yea,it doesn't take giant diesel powered mining equipment to get the needed fuel and truck it to your plant and more to refine it,etc. It doesn't take tons of concrete and fabricated parts to build a thorium reactor right? it magically appears out of thin air.. /sarcasm off. nothing is green and there is no magic utopia.
