  1. I convert my old cars all to DOT5 silicone fluid,it doesn't attract water like DOT3,and also doesnt eat paint if you spill it. It can also stop caliper pistons sticking when the car sets for a long time.

  2. Can't keep a old chevy down,I was amazed with everything wrong you pulled it off! I figured for sure some bent valves,but i bet the cams so worn out there is hardly any lift on the cam lobes left ROFL.

  3. distributor gear driven by the cam,which drives the oil pump.. cars drive forward and oil sloshes to the back,logical place it should be :)

  4. See that bolt on the front of the block inline with the fuel pump push rod? You can remove it and install a longer bolt in to hold the pushrod up. install the pump then put the proper short bolt back. nice work keeping her going.
