@Fopenplop You make some good points there. What you describe with the example you make is called corporate greed. Sadly, this works it's way into almost anything man does. There was a time in the past this was not always so prevalent. Lets take early Henry Ford for example,he paid high wages to workers in depression times and his thinking was if his workers could afford his cars they would buy them and also become customers. For the most part this worked but as we see later this was contaminated with unions, greed and corporate bean counters. There was a time not so long ago where workers had fair wages, pensions, and reasonable medical care via their jobs. Enter the bean counters, lawyers, unions etc who priced all this out of the common mans reach and made American workers un-competative . Add to this outsourcing jobs to Mexico and overseas to take advantage of sweatshop style labor thanks to our worthless politicians. Companies don't have to operate this way and Louis is a good example of this. The second thing you bring up is a person has to be a dingbat sheeple to buy apple products and they stand in line to be ripped off because they are programmed by schools to think apple is the best and if they don't have it,they are nothing. With all the problems of Capitalism,i will still take it over communism which is a proven failed system time and time again.

@Fopenplop Its not that i had it backward, its more that i didnt write a book here. initially he payed well compared to most other jobs. I wasnt painting him as a saint, and as you say there were many struggles. industry was terrible conditions then and it was part of the times. unions came in and did help at first then quickly became corrupt also. look at what GM went thru in the 70's with unions demanding more and more. you are also right they didn't want unions. The bosses could of done much better and not been so greedy. You actually proved the point i was trying to make,as you said,it was the "rich assholes" and their lobbyists causing this, not capitalism per say, anything can be corrupted. Failed communism is certainly not a fix for this.
