  1. I recall reading about a pilot whose aircraft managed to flip upside down while he was Changing the Lewis magazine. He managed to hold on to the drum, pull himself back up into the cockpit, and recover the a/c. His life literally hanging by the strength of the magazine locking mechanism. Never heard of the ‘wind vane’ sight before, always learning from FW! (Edited for spelling)
