@domienmatthies611 try again. Maidan minority does not represent Ukrainian majority that voted for Yanukovich. Yanukovich wanted to sit on two chairs - receive help from both EU and Russia and become second Belarus like that. It would be quite beneficial for Ukraine in long run, but in short run EU and Russia exchanged ultimatums and demands to Ukraine with final Russian one being - either you accept EU deal and then pay us market prices OR keep deal with us and then there would be no deal with EU. Yanukovich chose existing deal in comparison with some empty European promise. Then European and American politician infested Ukraine and collaborated with local oligarchs to organize a coup, which they did.

@BrennanYoung don't forget that jew apparently can't be a leader of nazi country even if such renames streets after SS members, glorifies ww2 nazi collaborators, has welcoming attitude to the nazi marches giving nazi salute and every second military men nearby Zelensky wears nazi insignia.

The maidan agreement was signed by European politicians as the ones guaranteeing it's legitimacy, by the way. When opposition broke such - Europeans shut their mouths about it and never spoke up about it. Minsc was negotiated between Kiev authorities and Donbass ones with Russia acting as a mediator. It failed from both sides on the issue of what would happen first - demobilization of Eastern Ukrainian militia or vote for new local authorities. Russia launched SMO when to be PM Lettuce, acting as a chief diplomat at the time, rejected the right of sovereign nation like Russia to move it's troops inside it's own borders. That was the last straw.

Wrong, wrong and wrong. Conscripts were not mass sent in Ukraine, few were by mistake. Still, Ukraine has shittier equipment than Russia except for Western top nkotch weaponry that rapidly dries out from your warmonger state. Casualties are not in Ukraines favour at all, they are so deperate for manpower that they started to conscript captured Russians Nazi Germany-style. While Russia has not went even with mobilisation of its forces and the annual conscript campaign enlists less people than last year. Many Russian vehicles getting destroyed cause of javelins supplied by the west, weaponry that is supposed to used by terrorists shooting from civilian appartments not caring about their civilians one bit. Also, Ukrainian vehicles are decimated more than Russians and they have no reserves that Russia has in that regard. Russia doesn't use bombers to make as less civilian casualties as possible. Russia dones't have chemicals weapons.. USA on the other hand..

@JuKa-n9y are there many patriotic people in Europe to begin with? I know that Poland is ready and willing, maybe Baltics too but the rest of EU - not so much. Especially after years of mistreatment when illegal aliens are treated better than folks that lived there for generations. It's not fault of migrants themselves, but the governments that flooded such in, you are fighting wrong people here, my dude.

Ukraine side never abided Minsc Agreement, keep shelling their own civilians on the east so diplomacy never worked. They are not "Russian" separatists, they are as Ukrainian as Western ones are, look at Taiwan and China situation - pretty same.

@Querulously so far Russia has been regaining millions of it lost Russian brethren, though.

@Querulously as a paramedic myself I can assure you that only specialized military hospitals get their military wounded, the rest of Russian hospitals don't and are still mostly filled with elderly with: heart diseases, broken bones due to lack of bone density, cancer, etc.
