  2. It took 3 years after USSR backed back from Afganistan for pro-soviet government to fall there, it took literal days for pro-American government falling after American military was withdrawn.

  3. ISIS sent a suicide bomber, he killed a dozen of civilians, then american military opened fire on the panicing mob to not let them enter airport, killing 13 fellow american soldiers while at it. Then bombed an Isis armored car, killing 6 children while at it cause duh America.

The standard military procedure is to evacuate civilians first and military personal later, what was done instead is military personal mostly went first and then there was no one to safely evacuate civilian advisors and such. This couldn't be done without command from some idiot politician who thought that he understands how to do things the best..
