@Blake4014 taking Moscow would change nothing. The city was filled with explosives to the brim and was ready to be blown up to the point that even nowadays old mines and explosives are found from time to time in the old buildings that are prepared for demolishing.. The government was ready to be relocated to Ural, while most of the machinery was already relocated to the east and was already functioning there. If anything, taking Moscow ruins would only puzzle general command to the point of insanity cause they would have no idea what to do next and how the fuck you defeat soviets.
