  2. @ Still, US had reserves to keep on going. If anything, UK and France getting weaker by fighting Russia would benefit USA even more. There was also a plan of giving out weapons to ex-Wermacht soldiers to make them fight Russians once more, it was pretty much the part of the operation Unthinkable.
