@Psycho_agency36 Fall of the Moscow would make Soviets fight only stronger. You see, most of industrial might of USSR was already relocated to Ural mountains and Moscow itself was made into essentially not only a fortress, but one huge-ass bomb prepared to be exploded too, the question would only be whether each building would explode separately as soon as Germans would take such, or that Stalin, who stayed behind in the city, would personally explode it as a whole when the last battles to get into Kremlin would start. Either way, what awaited Germans there was absolute death and annihilation regardless of taking city or not and heroic sacrifice of Stalin would make Soviets fight to the last man.

@ronaldmarcks1842 more than 1500 plants were relocated to Urals and Siberia and it did help that raw resources could be mined from Urals and proceeded at plants right there, though. Lend-lease helped, sure, but absolutely most of the Soviet weapons were forged in USSR.

@lucdevincke2055 either way, the whole plan was fucked up by default, but none listened logistics officers, - not Hitler, nor his generals. They all expected 2nd France there.

Nope Nope you don't, cause Soviets planted bombs in every single building there and were prepared to blown up the whole city if it comes to it. In fact, a few of those bombs are still discovered in Moscow every other year.

Nope Nope nice cool-aid drinking there, pal, but I didn't speak about war crimes, I spoke about Moscow that was prepared to be blown up if Germans would take it, ultimately undermining such achievement so Germans would get nothing anyway and that's a historical fact.

more like they were not allowed to or else.

'Soviets'

it's worse than that. The docuumentary describes fears of soldiers, but does not reveal that those turned out to be fake. Soviets treated prisoners of war as humane as possible, cause they were not monsters that Goebbels propaganda portrayed them as.

you would be provided warm clothes, though.
1
not so brutal for the prisoners of war, despite Goebbels propaganda machine.
1
Ah, you mean agent "Aby" who trained American paratroopers and organized Neo-fascist "Paladin" terrorist organization. It's funny how alllies were ready to enlist any fascists to fight against freedom and equality that Communism promised.
1
Romanians have a second place of number committed war crimes in USSR right after SS, though.
1
communism made a path for humanity towards stars, but you do you, claim that it's failed ideology all you want.
