@LashaRides it is. Crimea was illegally transfered from Russia to Ukraine. Russia getting it back is absolutely justified.

@LashaRides ir was in direct violation of Soviet Constitution so indeed it was illegal. Russia signed guarantees, sure, US-led coup broke Ukrainian sovereignity creating an american puppet out of it so there was no legal restrictions for Russia at that point.

@caralhoguy what important is the will of the people and people voted to become part of Russia once again, not to mention millions of UKrainians fleeing Ukraine meaningng that they don't trust their current Ukrainian government anymore. Finally, mind if I remind you that the deal before Boris Johnson forced Zelesnky to doom Ukraine into annihilation by forcing him fofeit negotiation was: Russia gets back it troops into Russia, Eastern Ukraine is reinteggrated into Ukraine with some amount of autonomy and Crimea is given 20 years of shared surveilance between Russia and Ukraine and then people there are once again prpovided with referendum, only this time it's sruveiled by both coutnries and their partners so it would be final and legit. That deal would finish bloody 8 years of Ukrainian civil war and even Crimea wasn't guaranteed to stay in Russia as long as UKraine would be a benefactor in their handling of it's population and aid porvided repspectively, it would also cal down tensions between nations and ensure stability in the region. Evil west decided to interfere " to the last Ukrainian" as american generals say.

@Peglegkickboxer he had no authority to do so. According to Soviet Constitution every Republic was to not lose territory to another one and Crimea was ideed part of Russian Republic. Read a book indeed Illegal transfer under Kruschev was righted at 2014 by getting Crimea where it legally belonged.

not really. Karabakh is murky territory and literally nobody acknowledged it as Armenian including Armenia itself. It's as if US marines would suddenly landed on Crimea - CSTO wouldn't interfere either.

@alloutofbubblegum7271 not Stalins' fault that those regoins perfectly fine under his rule would wreck themselves after quitting from USSR, same as with Tito and Yugoslavia.

@malcolmy3413 Russia didn't side with anyone there to begin with, it acted as a peacekeeping force to ensure safety of civilians and such indeed managed to safely escape at the end with Russia's help, not Russian fault that Armenian military inept, Russia is not there to wage wars on Armenian behalf.

@Ельдар-л1с что первично - люди или земля? Так-то я тоже могу согнать азербайжданцев в Турцию, занять их землю и сказать что теперь это моё, если их мнение ничего не решает. Жители Карабаха явно не хотели в Азербайджан. Если первична земля - то добро пожаловать в Персидскую Империю которой эти земли тысячи лет принадлежали.
