China was losing pathetically to Japanese, same with Brits who lost numerous battles due to lack of resolve. And Manchurian one-million man rmy that soviets defeated in no time - was not a joke. Yeah, bombing civilian cities really helped... to get nazis to enlist their civilian population into folksturm divisions. Lend-lease wasn't free and first payment was forced to be made in precious metals, plus US itself made up prices for it out of it's own ass -they weren't market ones.
