  1. Because resources are limited. Beasts (esoecially starving ones, i.e. resource-less) kill each other like there's no tomorrow. Hell, I have seen horse eating a chicken out of the blue just caus eit wanted to. Difference in mentality also pushes people in the war, like Ukrainian neo-nazis shelling their own civilians for 8 years deserved to be extermintaed so Russia's special operation against them is absolutely justified. There's Russian saying "Well fed is not a comrade of one starving". It's good to preach modesty when you have privlege to have enough to jkeep you going, but what if you don't? You wouldn't go by that prideful dipshit telling you that you should not strive for more than what you have.

  2.  @baneofbanes  Russia is liberating Ukraine cause it well-prepared for military option and exhausted diplomatic options (that it triedfor 8 years) of stopping Ukrainian civil war.
