  3. I sat as a passenger in an English car in the Netherlands! Constantly wanting to change gear and looking where the steering wheel should be. It wasn't that far, but it made me feel very helpless... and nervous.

  5. Go back to the future by watching 'Why Dutch wait less at traffic lights!' by NJB. We even have an app on our smartphones to turn the lights green on a bicycle. And sensors in the pavement connected to the traffic control computers that calculate the most efficient throughput. And rain sensors to let cyclists come home a bit dryer.
