The Progressive in the house do need to flex more. The problem is The Legislation they need to flex on is usually needed immediately like The Stimulus Checks they could've fought harder for The $15 minimum wage but holding up those checks would've cost them seats. & The only people pushing progressive policy are the few progressives in Congress we can't afford to lose.

@BenjamUniverse How much longer could you have gone without that $1400 before your rent was due or had to pay bills? If they held it up people in their districts would've been pissed & voted them out.

@janeryan2709 I think Manchin knows how much people actually Hate him. He just doesn't care. I just assume Progressives don't wanna lose what little power they have. When you're dealing with Establishment Dems like Pelosi, Schumer, or Manchin. You can either go all in & win. Or you fail & they'll make sure to bury you.

@AM.000 I was just talking about Manchin because the other person I was talking to brought up Manchin. I already know what's passed in the house goes on to the Senate for a vote. Where it usually dies. But putting that aside I still believe if they flexed at Establishment Dems and failed they would make sure they never win again.
