@swiftlytiltingplanet8481 since we all sin, in order to be able to be with a all holy and perfect God we must be clean and forgiving. So every sin that you have done and I have done Jesus took those Sins upon him for us so instead of us being punished for them he did it for us. So now we get to be with God for eternity because his son took our punishment.

You have sinned and messed up. God loves you and gave you free will. He did not want to make you not sin because then you would just be a little robot puppet. He loved you so much that he wanted you to have free will. You have sinned and messed up, but, God still loves you he wants you to go to heaven and be with him for eternity.
